Hours of work: 8.30am to 3.15 pm Term time only

Contract type: Maternity Cover

About us:

Dauntsey Academy Primary School has an exciting opportunity for someone who would relish making a difference to the lives of our youngest learners. We are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work in our EYFS/KS1 classes - joining our friendly, highly motivated and supportive team, as a maternity cover.

  •  Someone smiley, friendly, kind and good at listening
  •  Someone good at tidying up
  •  Someone who can help us with our learning
  •  Someone who can make cakes

We feel that the successful candidate will:

  •  Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS/ KS1 curriculum
  •  Be able to work collaboratively with other members of staff
  •  Be an excellent communicator, committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community
  •  Be experienced in working with primary aged children
  •  Be passionate, caring, creative and able to use their initiative
  •  Be self-motivated, reliable and resilient
  •  Have a creative approach to supporting levels of engagement
  •  Good record-keeping skills

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working with children and must be committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people and the school expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
