This term, we will begin with a Science topic – ‘Why is the circulatory system so important and how can we keep our bodies healthy?’ This will include studying the structure of the mammalian heart and the children will spend a session dissecting a pig’s heart to consolidate their understanding of this structure.

During our outdoor learning sessions this term, we will be looking at the work of Andy Goldsworthy and creating a variety of pieces using natural resources and materials. The topic will culminate in producing a piece of clay work, inspired by nature and our wonderful local environment.
