Reading and home learning
We love to read Elm. Every week your child will have a new phonic book to read linked to the phonics they are able to read fluently. We also have a selection of sharing books which can be changed on any day to broaden your child’s experience and love for reading. Please read with your child at least five times a week.
We will also post information on Seesaw so you are able to support your child’s learning throughout the curriculum as the year progresses.
Communication & permissions
Seesaw |
Please make sure you are signed up to Seesaw. If you are not yet signed up, please contact the school office. We use Seesaw as a communication tool and digital portfolio that allows you to have a personalised window into your child’s time at school. The class teacher and your child can document any learning so that it can be shared, supported and celebrated. Every term we upload the curriculum map for the term, provide weekly updates and organise Cake Friday. |
Office |
Please contact the office to inform us of any changes to school pickups, absences or illnesses. |
Permissions | Please ensure you have informed the Admin team if you do not wish your child to appear in photographs on our website or one our school Facebook page. Forms for trips and swimming sessions will be sent via parent Mail as these events occur. |
