Hazel

Welcome to Hazel Class smiley

Take a look at what we have been doing in Hazel Class so far this year by clicking on the stars below. You will find our topic webs, photographs and videos of us having a great time learning here in Hazel Class. You can also check out my class of super heroes in the moving pictures below.

Please make sure you are signed up to Seesaw. If you are not yet signed up, please contact the school office. We use Seesaw as a communication tool and digital portfolio that allows you to have a personalised window into your child’s time at school. The class teacher and your child can document any learning so that it can be shared, supported and celebrated.

Here are some reminders for each week:

  • P.E. is on a Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Forest School is on a Monday afternoon.
  • Children should be reading five times a week at home to support their reading progression. This will also boost their self esteem and love of reading. Children receive a merit for their five reads each week.
  • Spelling tests will be on a Wednesday morning. New spellings will then be given out on on the Friday for the following weeks spelling test.
  • Miss Walsh will be teaching all day on a Wednesday.

Please ensure you have informed the Admin team if you do not wish your child to appear in photographs on our academy website.

With best wishes from

Miss Scott smiley

This is a video of Hazel Class singing 'Penny Lane' for our special visitor from Argentina, Señor Adrian Velazquez who is a big fan of The Beatles. We hope you enjoy it as much as he did.
