Welcome to Elm's class page.
In Elm class there are currently 25 children, with me, Mrs Kerr, as their class teacher and Mrs. Harflett and Mrs. Morris as the Teaching Assistants. On Friday afternoons Mrs. Mead comes to teach Elm class whilst I go off to plan, prepare and work on assessment of the class. The children also learn German once a week with Mrs. Burton.
This web page will tell you what we are up to as the year progresses. There will be overview letters for each term and photos of the children learning too. Sometimes we may add top tips and websites we recommend for you to use with your child at home.
, our school communication tool, to get up to the minute images and notes about your own child, and messages from staff too. If you haven't received a special code to receive updates about your child etc, please let one of the EYFS staff know.
Remember that PE days are Mondays all year, and that we swim on Wednesday afternoons also in term 5 and 6.
Forest school kits should be in school on Tuesdays and should include long sleeved tops and long legged trousers, a waterproof coat and wellies.
I hope you enjoy looking at the hard work planned and achieved so far this year.
